Is The Swine Really Serious????

I don't think Swine Flu is that serious like other influenza in the past. Unlike SAR's which was a influenza that originated in China back in 2006, it is contagious through the touching or rubbing of skin. SAR's was an airborne flu which was very deadly and had deadly symptoms that could have killed you in days and hospitalized you with serious problems. I feel that the Swine Flu can be prevented by knowing about your surroundings and asking questions if you see anyone around you who is sick. Another way to prevent this influenza is to carry around any kind of disinfectint like a hand sanitizer, which kills germs instantly. If this flu was airborne there would most likely be no way to prevent it because you can breathe it in and have it the next day, but it is through touching which makes it hard to say it is a hard hitting flu. Also if you catch the Swine flu quickly and see a doctor you will eventually defeat it in about a week or so. But if you wait and let it sit in your body and let it do its part you can remain hospitalized for many days and get severly sick and maybe die.

    In a way, I agreed with you & we all have to make sure of our surroundings. Constant cleaning our hands and stuff. We shall be fine in next few weeks when the gov't and the medical helps to constrict the flu.

    i think everyone is blowing this whole swine flu thing out of poportion. We have all had flu's in the past and have never freaked out to this extent. The main cause for all this hype had to be the media. Its all over the news and its bound to be drilled into our heads sooner or later. I admit though, first hearing about it, i was quite concerned but I think now that people are over reacting a little bit.

    I agree with Amena i think swine flu is just like any other flu. I was also concerned about it but all you have to do is keep your self clean and use hand sanitizers. Keep washing you hands with soap. Doctors are doing their best to help us and i'm sure everything will be under control and sooner or later it will all be over.

    The reason why the media is making such a big deal has a lot to do with SARs actually.
